Welcome to Dorset Funeral celebrant

In some ways I am sorry that you are here, because it means you have probably lost someone you care about, for that please accept my sincere condolences.
I won't coat the pill, what you are going through is hard. saying goodbye to somebody you love and care about is not easy.
Let me help you.
if your'e not sure what a celebrant does...
A lot like what a minister would have done for you...Except!
I will create a funeral service around the person and their bereaved family without the religious imperative. you can still have a prayer or a hymn if you wish. it really is up to you.
The service is all about celebration:
Over the last 20 or so years celebrants have been changing the way we look at funeral services. greater emphasis on the life story of your loved one, who they were, what they meant to you, and what you meant to them.
Music is important in all of our lives today. We use music as a means of marking a time, a place, a person, a memory.
So we include music in our service, you can have pretty much anything you or the deceased may want or asked for.
Poetry is used a lot, because quite often a poem can express emotions or feelings that we have, that we are less able to express or feel at the time.
Some of the nice things that people say
(From NS Ottawa, Canada) Oh, my I just sat down to read this and it is a lovely tribute ... just as you said it would be a reflection of his being.
And you really attend to your research! Thank you again for conversations you had with others, it shows how dedicated you are as a celebrant. You have created a beautiful tribute. Thank you
(From DB Dorset)
Thank you very much for speaking for us at Dad’s service yesterday. It was really nice (my brother was also pleased with how it went), not too much fuss, just how Dad would’ve wanted it.
(From SHR Bournemouth)
I would just like to thank you very much for the way you conducted D**** funeral. You made what was one of the worst days of my life more bearable.
Me as a Person, after all you want to know who you are dealing with
Anybody can call themselves a celebrant, they need absolutely no training whatsoever. There is UK government recognised training either to certificate or diploma level. I myself have the diploma.
It was important to me to achieve this to offer a service that is exemplary to people who need you to get it right "FIRST TIME". It's very easy to just state facts in a stark way... but far better to tell a story instead of someone who was cared for and who cared about those they have left behind.
You will want to know how much I cost? That's fair, I'm certainly not the most expensive, but that doesn't mean I deliver less. At the moment I am charging £190 as a flat fee that includes my travel up to 30 miles each way and naturally all my time meeting and preparing your written funeral service and delivering it in an empathetic way. I put a lot of effort in to make your service as beautiful and meaningful as possible... I promise to make it as personal to you and your loved one as possible
Well I'm not young, but I am young in heart. I do understand technology, but more importantly I do understand people, I care. Caring is one of the important things that a celebrant brings to a funeral. We are not dedicated to the religious requirements of traditional funerals, however that said we don't ignore it either if you want a prayer or hymn included. What I want to do is tell the story of the person who has passed on, what they meant to you and also what you meant to them.
To use me, just give your Funeral director my name and phone number and they can contact me to confirm the arrangements, or call me direct 07368190751
Great care is taken to give you and your loved one the personalised service that they, their family and friends deserve, to remember and celebrate their lives in a loving all inclusive way. to remember them with not only tears but also with a smile.
I don't have normal business hours, so I am available to you whenever I can answer a phone call

Obviously, my phone is turned off during funerals, you can leave a verbal message, but a text seems to be a better way as voicemail always seems to go wrong.
